A concert featuring a work by the festival guest, Mr. Patrick Burns as well as movements from De Meij’s Lord of the Rings Symphony, Joaquin Rodrigo’s famous Adagio for Winds and other works.
21st Century Music for the Winds and Percussion, features a number of exciting newer compositions including Chaos Theory for Electric Guitar, Winds and Percussion by Jim Bonney, as well as newer works by Andrew Boysen Jr., Kathryn Salfelder, David Gillingham and others.
Including works of the early 20th century British masters, Gordon Jacob and Percy Grainger, along with contemporary works by Richard Rodney Bennett and Philip Sparkes
