Q: I am a new law student and am interested in living on campus. How do I apply for housing?
A: Attached to the bottom of this page is the notice sent to new law students via email. That email message contains all of the information you need to know.

Q: Am I permitted to have overnight guests in the Residence Halls?
A: Guests of the same sex may stay in your residence hall room provided your roommate approves. Guests of opposite sex may only be present in Residence Hall rooms during the following times:

Q: Where can I find the rules, polices, and laws that I am required to follow as an Ohio Northern University student?
A: These are located in the Student Handbook which is available to you online. This handbook will answer any questions you may have about the ONU alcohol policy, quiet/courtesy hours, and pets as well as any other questions you may have.
Q: Can I bring my car to campus?
A: Yes. All students are permitted to bring a vehicle to campus and required to register their vehicle by purchasing a parking permit from the Security Office, located in the Hill building. The Security Office can be reached at 419-772-2222.
Q: Can I bring my bicycle to campus?
A: Yes. Many ONU students have bicycles since this is a residential campus and most students do not drive a car to and from class. You can obtain an identification sticker from the Security office for your bicycle.
Q: What items are provided to me in my residence hall room (e.g. desks, chairs, etc.)?

Q: What are the bathrooms like?
A: The bathrooms vary depending on living environment. In the residence halls, there is a common bathroom area for the residents of a given wing. The bathrooms are designated for males or females. These bathrooms provide private showers and stalls. In the suites and apartments, there is a bathroom per each suite or apartment.
Q: Who can answer the many questions I may have when I arrive to campus?
A: There are residence life staff in every hallway and wing of every residence hall and in each apartment building. There is a staff person in the house with first-year student residents. Click on Residence Life Staff for more details.
Q: I'm currently an ONU student and want to live off-campus for the upcoming academic year. How do I apply to receive approval?
A: Answers to many of your questions about living off-campus are located on our web site. Click on Off-Campus Housing.
Q: What are the requirements for living in an Apartment on campus?
A: During the first round of the student housing lottery during Spring Quarter, students with 90 credit hours can opt to live in on-campus apartments. In order to attempt to have a roommate that does not meet the 90 credit hour requirement, you must wait to take place in the second round of the student housing lottery process.
