On behalf of the Ohio Northern University Office of Multicultural Development and the Multicultural Center it is my sincere pleasure to bid you a sincere and heartfelt welcome.

The mission of the Office of Multicultural Development is to foster the matriculation, retention, and graduation of diverse students at Ohio Northern University. We are not satisfied with simply discussing the recruitment and retention of Minority Students, but are intensely committed to an action-oriented approach to building a campus community that fosters academic excellence, diversity, equity, and cultural pluralism.

The Office Sponsors a number of programs and services that are designed to cultivate retention, scholarship, intellectual engagement, and cultural awareness. Program efforts include but are not limited to:

• Harambe Festival
• Kuumba Festival
• New Dimensions Lecture Series
• Rites of Passage Graduation Celebration
