DESCRIPTION: Phi Delta Chi is a professional and social fraternity whose mission is to advance the profession of pharmacy through fraternal activities. Membership is by invitation. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled in the College of Pharmacy, be in good academic standing and be of high moral character.
Phi Delta Chi sponsors a variety of professional projects designed to increase the publics’ awareness of pharmacy or to provide financial or moral support to charitable or worthy groups. It assists the college administration whenever possible in professional matters such as talking to primary and secondary school groups about pharmacy. It links its members with a communal bond of fraternal spirit that binds them together as they partially fulfill their own personal commitments to their chosen profession.

DESCRIPTION: Phi Mu Delta was founded as a national fraternity on March 1, 1918 at the Universities of New Hampshire, Connecticut and Vermont. Formerly the Masonic Club, the local Mu Beta chapter was installed on March 15, 1926 at ONU. In 1992 the chapter redefined their purpose in their newly formed mission statement while keeping in mind the basic ideals and principles on which the fraternity was founded.
The purpose of the Mu Beta chapter of Phi Mu Delta is to enhance the educational process by providing the individual with a commitment to democracy, brotherhood and service. This is accomplished through service to the college, the brotherhood and the individual, and through the development of the human spirit by creating life long friendships. As a result, the fraternity will be the finest on campus and its members the best here and beyond. The brotherhood is active in many campus and community activities as well as maintaining high academics and athletic standings.

DESCRIPTION: Sigma Phi Epsilon’s Alpha Chapter was installed at ONU in 1905. They have the distinction of being the first to build a house in Ohio exclusively for fraternity use. Some basic principles of Sigma Phi Epsilon include sportsmanship, brotherhood and scholarship.
