Michael Chow

Michael Chow is an accomplished Professional Electrical Engineer and entrepreneur. He received a bachelor of science in electrical engineering with a concentration in computer science from Ohio Northern University in 1992.

While at Northern, Michael participated in the engineering co-op program and worked for Marathon Oil Company serving as the first ONU Engineer-in-Residence from 2001-2003.

Michael is the managing principal for Metro CD Engineering, LLC, in Worthington, Ohio; a firm he founded in 2004. Metro CD Engineering specializes in electrical, HVAC, plumbing engineering and green building design. The firm’s vision is “Engineering a greener tomorrow…today.”

Michael is a registered professional engineer in over twenty states including Ohio. He is also a LEED ® AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional); knowledgeable and experienced in green building design and operation.

On October 6, 2007, Michael received the 2007 William L. Robinson Distinguished Young Alumni Award during the Homecoming football game half-time festivities. Michael and his wife, Heidi (Woebkenberg), BSPh ’96, enjoy living in Dublin, Ohio, with their daughter, Lillian.
