ONU Parking Policy Updated

The ONU Parking Advisory Committee, compromised of students, faculty, and staff, began researching a possible solution to the lack of available parking on campus. After a year of discussion, changes have been made to the previous parking regulations and policies.
Traveling habits are being tailored to encourage a daytime pedestrian campus. Parking for on-campus students will be limited to their respective residential lots during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. during the weekdays. During all other times, students and other permit holders will be permitted to park in any faculty, staff, or commuter lot.
Parking lots campus-wide have been color coded and renamed to allow for clear designations of valid parking areas. Green lots will be reserved for resident parking areas. Orange lots will be reserved for faculty and staff during specified hours. Blue lots will be reserved for commuters, but will also open to permit holders after hours.
