Job Summary: 
 

Full-time, tenure-track law faculty position(s) with a normal teaching load of four courses per year, a typical expectation of scholarly research and publication, and internal and external service obligations.

Skills & Qualifications: 
 

Candidates must hold at least the J.D., and have a distinguished academic record, commitment to excellence in teaching and commitment to scholarship.  Qualifications include a record of excellent service in judicial clerkships, law practice, and/or similar engagements.

Founded in 1885, the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law is the second oldest of the nine Ohio law schools.  The college is accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools.  Annually, the college enrolls more than 320 students from ore than 40 states in its full-time juris doctor degree and LL.M. program.  Dedicated to the rigorous pursuits of teaching and practicing law, the college's faculty is focused on providing one-on-one, personal training to students with a passion for legal scholastic excellence.  The College of Law is located in Ada, Ohio, with an off-campus legal clinic in Lima, Ohio.
