Job Summary: 
 

Civil engineering faculty position in the area of structural engineering to teach undergraduate courses in structural analysis, reinforced concrete design, and structural steel design.

Skills & Qualifications: 
 

A Ph.D. in civil or structural engineering, an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and professional registration (IE/PE) are required.  Expertise in the area of structural engineering, ability to teach a variety of undergraduate engineering courses, effective oral and written communication skills, and an interest in undergraduate teaching as the primary responsibility are essential.

Department Description: 
The civil engineering department has five full time faculty members and approximately 110 majors.  The program is ABET accredited and leads to the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree.  Departmental emphasis is on high quality undergraduate education through excellence in teaching.  There is an optional five-year coop program.
