Skills & Qualifications: 
 

Doctorate with an emphasis in secondary education.  Teaching experience in grades K-12 required (minimum three years).

Department Description: 
 

The Education Department, which has nine full-time faculty members and two part-time faculty members, offers majors in Early Childhood Education and Middle Childhood Education.  The department members are part of the Center for Teacher Education which includes twenty-four faculty who teach and advise approximately 200 students who are seeking teacher licensure in early childhood education (PK-3), middle childhood education (4-9), young and late adolescent education (7-12), multi-age (PK-12) and technology education (4-12).
