ONU Entrepreneurship Scholarship Competition

Ohio Northern University (ONU) has established a new entrepreneurship scholarship competition for high school students titled, “Create Ideas that Change Our World.” Students can enter to win scholarships to Ohio Northern by proposing innovative solutions that improve society, improve human health care, utilize technology to improve lives, or create new businesses and jobs.

Participating high schools that hold their own competitions can award up to three $1,000 per year renewable scholarships to Ohio Northern University to the winning students for excellence in entrepreneurial thinking or creative problem solving. A participating high school must hold a competition among its own students using the competition process and competition standards supplied by ONU.

In addition, high school students who are winners of their local competition and/or who are nominated by their high schools are potentially eligible to participate in the annual Ohio Northern Midwest Regional Entrepreneurship Scholarship Competition which awards $2,000 per year renewable scholarships to up to 12 high school students. This competition will be held February 3, 2010.
