Prof. EddingsAn art minor is available only to non-art majors. A minimum of 32 credit hours is required for completion of the program. For students enrolled at Ohio Northern prior to the 2008-09 academic year, the curriculum requirements include:

ART 100: Art Appreciation
ART 150: Studio Foundations 1 (2D, visual language)
ART 160: Studio Foundations 2 (2D, color theory)
ART 170: Drawing/Illustration
1 three-dimensional course
3 electives at the 200 level or above

For students enrolled at Ohio Northern during (and after) the 2008-09 academic year, the following courses are required:
ART 100: Art Appreciation

ART 155: 3D Design 1

I decided that while earning my degree in business administration, I wanted to study art not only for pleasure and personal interest, but also to compliment my major in accounting. I want to show employers and clients alike that I’m capable and often find creative ways to solve any problem by adding a unique perspective.
