Biography:
Dr. Bell holds a Ph.D, from the University of Toledo, a Masters degree from James Madison University and a Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. Bell has been the director of dance at Ohio Northern University since 1994. In that time she has developed a dance program that has collaborated with such professionals as Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, the African American Dance Ensemble, Rhythm In Shoes, Peoria Ballet and others. She teaches technique classes in modern, and ballet and courses in choreography and dance history. She has been awarded grants for a Fulbright Scholar in Residence from Mexico and from Dance/USA and the New England Foundation for the Arts.
