Tomie dePaola's Strega Nona
Freed Center Children's Series
Thursday, Mar. 11 at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, Feb. 15.
Based on the children’s book by Tomie dePaola, Strega Nona is the musical tale of a friendly and magical witch. As Strega Nona strives to
cure the ills of her tiny Italian town, her magical book is stolen and used for selfish means. When pasta threatens to engulf the entire town, it is up to Strega Nona to save the day. Accompanied by an energetic score, this fantastic tale teaches that witches can be good and that you can’t judge a pot by its pasta! Great for every age.
