ONU Symphony: Symphonic Soundscapes

The ONU Symphony Orchestra explores the many soundscapes created for symphony orchestra. Winners of the ONU Concerto Competition Sydney Kuhlman, soprano, and Joshua Purk, marimba, will present their selections. The orchestra will present the world premiere of a newly commissioned work by Fulbright Scholar composer Brian Christian, Vespers for Orchestra. The work will feature exotic percussion, solo voices and horn. Additionally, the symphony will present short works by Prokofiev, Stravinsky and Glière. There will be a pre-show discussion at 7:15 p.m.
Tickets are: General $15; Senior/Non-ONU Students $12; Child $9; ONU Student $5.
