Biography:
J. H. Huebert is an award-winning attorney and a law professor. He teaches jurisprudence and advanced appellate advocacy at Ohio Northern University College of Law. He also teaches appellate advocacy at Ohio State University College of Law. In addition, he serves as adjunct faculty member of the Ludwig von Mises Institute and as a Fellow of the Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions. Professor Huebert is a full-time attorney with Porter Wright Morris & Arthur in Columbus. His law practice there includes appellate advocacy, civil litigation, and white collar criminal defense. Before joining Porter Wright, Professor Huebert was law clerk to Judge Deborah L. Cook of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. While in law school he served as law clerk extern to Judge John W. Darrah of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. He earned his J.D. at the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a John M. Olin Student Fellow in Law & Economics. He earned his B.A. in economics with honors at Grove City College.
