To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, we look to Germany for our seventh year of producing world premieres from around the globe. Berliner Steffi Hensel has been commissioned to write a one-act play for this year's festival. Andreas Liebmann, currently from Berlin, will direct Hensel's play, and also create an intercultural performance piece of his own with our students. We invite you to not only undertake a compelling cultural journey, but to experience an utterly unconventional evening of theatre as well.
The ONU Wind Ensemble, under its new director, Dr. Thomas A. Hunt, presents Expectations, a concert celebrating both the expectant nature of the Advent and Christmas seasons and high expectations for the ONU Wind Ensemble. The program will include Ron Nelson's Laudes, Joseph Curiale's Joy!, Morten Lauridsen's O Magnum Mysterium, J.S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, and Robert Longfield's The Bells of Christmas.
