Ohio Northern University commemorates Black History Month this February with a number of scheduled events. Several campus organizations will collaborate to provide diverse opportunities to celebrate African-American heritage.

ADA—Area high school and college students will be participating in an entrepreneurial Idea Pitch competition, hosted by Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration on Feb. 3rd, 2010 from 5-9 p.m. in the Dicke building. The theme for the competitions is Creating Ideas that Change Our World.

Hardin County GIS manager Tim Mayle will be presenting how GIS continues to be used to assist in the county’s wind turbine project.
This is interesting from a research standpoint, understanding the value of the GIS technology and should be very interesting.
It will be for @ 1 hour. 3 pm in the Forum
The focus of the Fulbright-mtvU Fellowship is to promote “the power of music” as a global force for mutual understanding. The Fulbright Student Outreach Team will be hosting a series of webinars where alumni of the Fulbright-mtvU Fellowship will discuss their Fulbright experiences. IIE Program Managers will moderate the sessions. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.
Over the past two years, Jason Duff, a graduate of our program and a member of the College’s Advisory Board, has been involved with microfinance overseas. He asked for an opportunity to address the topic, with the help of two visiting colleagues, who are making a trip into Ohio to visit Jason. On February 4, he and his colleagues will make their presentation in the Dicke Forum. See details below.
