Elizabeth Kolbert traveled from Alaska to Greenland and visted top scientists to get to the heart of the debate over global warming. We welcome Ms. Kolbert to the ONU campus as part of the Polar Bear Nation program. A respected journalist and author, Kolbert's Field notes from a Catastrophe: Man, Nature, and Climate Change brings the environment into the consciousness of the American people and asks what, if anything, can be done and how we can save our planet.

"Roving Mars: Spirit, Opportunity and Exploration of the Red Planet" Ohio Northern University's Spotts Lecture Series Freed Center for the Performing Arts 7 p.m. on Monday, March 16. The event is free and open to the public. Dr. Steven W. Squyres will discuss the past, present and future of Mars exploration and the opportunities that arise with these investigations.
