"Kuumba" is a word from the Swahili Language that means "creativity". This annual showcase of talent includes dance, song, poerty, culture and music. The event is all-campus inclusive and welcomes the creative influence of all ethnic backgrounds and cultures.

Tim Mathile, president and CEO of Franklin Brazing, will discuss "Lessons Learned the Hard Way" in Ohio Northern University's Dicke Forum on Monday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m.

Presented by the ONU Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team, this event is free and open to the public.

Mathile will discuss his path as an entrepreneur after graduating from ONU with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering in 1987. He will provide students with insight on how to create and grow an idea into a successful business.
