Jacob Aaron HinojosaJacob is a freshman here at Ohio Northern University. He has a double major in music performance and music education with a trumpet focus and a minor in dance. Also Jacob participates in the theatre programs. He taught himself how to play the piano his freshman year of high school. This is his first year actually taking private piano lessons. His sophomore year of high school he began to play at his Catholic high school masses as well as weddings, and as an accompanist for vocalists.

Adam Fakncke
Adam Fahncke is a senior business management major and a B.A. music major with a concentration in piano. He studies with Dr. Rebecca Casey and was a piano student of Don Hurless in Lima prior to his attendance at ONU. He is student accompanist of the ONU Men's Chorus and the ONU University Singers Assistant Accompanist, and collaborates regularly with students in studio lessons in the Music Department. Adam also teaches in the recently formed Piano Academy in the keyboard area, and performed in Master Class this last fall with Mr. Assaf Sommer from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Adam is the Secretary of Rho Pi Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. We are fortunate to have Adam sharing his talents on piano with us in the Music Department!

Faith Heflin
Faith Heflin is a junior music education major and is in the HonorsProgram at ONU. She studies in the piano studio of Dr. Rebecca Casey.Faith has performed on piano playing Bach in a recent OMTA StateConvention Master class which was coached by Mr. Alpin Hong,internationally acclaimed soloist and clinician. She has performed onpiano at ONU in October 2009 for Mr. Assaf Sommer's Master Class; Mr.Sommer is an Israeli pianist from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Musicwho has won the Artists International piano competition and had his debut in Carnegie Hall in solo recital in 2006. Faith will also playin a master class at ONU for internationally-acclaimed pianist Andrea Anderson on Friday Nov. 13. Faith is a very active member of the ONUmusic department. She is President of OCMEA and holds a membership inthe Music Student Advisory Board. She collaborates and accompanies forconcerts, recitals, Women's Chorus, Opera Workshop, and students andfaculty in the music department. She is the new Assistant Conductor of the ONU Women's Chorus, as well. We are blessed to have Faith at ONU!
