Women's Swimming tops Olivet, falls at DII Hillsdale in tri-meet

HILLSDALE, Mich – The Ohio Northern women’s swimming and diving team defeated Olivet (Mich.) and fell to Division II Hillsdale (Mich.) in a non-conference tri-meet at the McAvoy Natatorium at Hillsdale on Friday night.

The Polar Bears defeated Olivet 147-94 and fell to Hillsdale 122-106. Hillsdale also topped Olivet 124-90.

ADA - The Ohio Northern women’s swimming and diving team received their first loss of the season as they fell 165-135 to Wooster Saturday afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.

The Polar Bears move to 2-1 overall, while the Scots are now 3-0.

Seven different winners pace Women's Swimming past Wilmington 118-81

Wilmington — The Ohio Northern women’s swimming and diving team defeated Wilmington 118-81 on Friday night at Wilmingtons Razik Arena.

Ohio Northern improves to 2-0 overall (2-0 Ohio Athletic Conference), while the Quakers are now 1-2 overall (1-2 OAC).

Moore, Bukowy win twice each as Women's Swimming defeats John Carroll in 2009-10 season opener

ADA — The Ohio Northern women’s swimming and diving team defeated John Carroll 169-129 to start the ‘09-’10 season on Saturday afternoon the ONU Sports Center.

Ohio Northern improves to 1-0 overall (1-0 OAC), while the Blue Streaks are now 1-1 overall (1-1 OAC).

The Polar Bears were led by senior Katherine Moore and junior Hannah Bukowy, each winning two individual races.

Swimming & Diving teams to open 2009-10 seasons Oct. 31 at home with John Carroll

ADA —  The Ohio Northern men's and women's swimming and diving teams will open up their respective 2009-10 seasons on Oct. 31 in an Ohio Athletic Conference showdown with John Carroll at the ONU Sports Center.

Both squads will be looking to repeat as OAC Champions in 2009-10, as the Polar Bears swept the 2009 OAC Championships titles.
