ADA –The Ohio Northern women’s swimming and diving team wrapped up their 2009-10 regular season with a tough 150-148 loss to Case Western Reserve in the regular season finale at the ONU Sports Center on Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, Ohio Northern finishes the regular season with a 6-5 record overall, while the Spartans improve to 4-5 overall.

ADA — Senior Terri Lynn Shigle surpassed the 1-meter diving NCAA “B” cut to lead the Ohio Northern women’s swimming and diving team in their 169-68 victory over Notre Dame (Ohio) at the ONU Sports Center Friday night.

Ohio Northern improves to 6-4 overall with the win, while the Falcons fall to 5-5 overall.

ADA — The Ohio Northern Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Teams will be conducting their fourth annual "Swim for Cystic Fibrosis" in a dual meet with Case Western Reserve at 1 pm Saturday at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium.

The Polar Bears will also be recognizing the 10 senior student-athletes in our the home meet of the season and raise funds for the CF Foundation.

Both teams clinched the 2009-2010 OAC Regular Season titles, with the women winning for the fifth consecutive year and the men for the fourth straight time.
