Kaitlin Sanders named First Team Academic All-District

ADA - Junior midfielder Kaitlin Sanders (Kendallville, Ind./East Noble) has been selected ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District in voting conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

As a sophomore Sanders was named Third Team Acdemic All-District as well as First Team Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference.

Women's Soccer to host Wilmington in the OAC Tournament Semifinals

ADA - The Ohio Northern women's soccer team has earned the No. 2 seed for the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament and will host the No. 3-seed Wilmington Quakers on Thursday at 2 pm at the ONU Soccer Field.

Each team finished the OAC with a 7-2-0 regular season record, but Northern was awarded the higher seed because of head-to-head competition.

ADA —Ohio Northern will be hosting Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament play for men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball this week.

MARIETTA - Junior Kaitlin Sanders scored the game winning goal just 20 seconds into the game, as the Ohio Northern women's soccer team defeated Marietta 3-0 Saturday afternoon at Marietta Field.

The win gives Northern (13-5-0, 7-2-0 OAC) the No. 2-seed for the OAC Tournament and a first round bye. Marietta falls to 5-10-3, 3-3-3.

ADA - The Ohio Northern women’s soccer team wrapped up its regular season home schedule with a 2-0 victory over Wilmington on Wednesday at the ONU Soccer Field.

The Polar Bears move to 12-5-1 overall and 6-2 in the Ohio Athletic Conference while the Quakers fall to 13-5 overall and 6-2 in the OAC.
