WILMINGTON - The No. 24 ranked Ohio Northern women’s soccer team kept pace in the tight Ohio Athletic Conference race thanks to goals by freshman Lindsay Gilchrist and junior Natalie White, leading ONU to a 2-1 victory over Wilmington on Tuesday night.

ADA - The #25 Ohio Northern women’s soccer team lost a close 1-0 match against visiting #8 Otterbein on Saturday as Lindsey Rudibaugh’s lone goal was enough to give the Cardinals a win on Senior Day at the ONU Soccer Field.

ADA - The Ohio Northern women’s soccer team beat visiting Heidelberg 3-0 as three different players had goals in the first half for Northern Wednesday afternoon at the ONU Soccer Field.

With the win, Northern advances its record to 12-2-2 overall and 6-0-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Angie Pisut named OAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Senior Angie Pisut (Huber Heights/Carroll) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 12-18.

Pisut was also named OAC Player of the Week on September 8 of this season and has won the award three times in her career now.

The 2007 OAC Forward of the Year scored her 13th goal of the season in the 53rd minute of a 6-0 shutout over Baldwin-Wallace on Tuesday.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS - Senior Angie Pisut scored a goal for the fifth consecutive game and sophomore goalkeeper Kristen DeWees earned her eighth shutout of the season in the Ohio Northern women's soccer team's 1-0 victory at John Carroll.

ONU is now 11-2-2 overall and 5-0-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Blue Streaks are now 5-9-1 and 3-2-0 OAC.
