No. 12 Softball sweeps Heidelberg 8-0, 5-1 in OAC twin-bill to stay atop league standings

ADA -- The No. 12 Ohio Northern oftball team swept Heidelberg 8-0 and 5-1 in an Ohio Athletic Conference softball doubleheader Thursday afternoon at the ONU Softball Field.

The Polar Bears improve to 23-2 overall and stay in first place in the OAC with a 10-2 mark, while the Student Princes fall to 4-24, 2-10.

ADA — In a change of schedule, the No. 12-ranked Ohio Northern softball team will play host to Heidelberg Thursday afternoon at 3:30 pm at the ONU Softball Field.

ADA — April showers may be good for flowers, but they are not so kind to the Ohio Northern spring sports teams, as a steady rain has wiped out all of Ohio Northern's athletic contests for Tuesday, April 14.

The Baseball doubleheader with Heidelberg, slated for Tuesday at 1 pm at Wander Field, has been postponed until Wednesday at 1 pm.

BEREA --  The No. 12-ranked Ohio Northern softball team used four home runs to sweep Baldwin-Wallace 5-2 and 10-8 in a battle of Ohio Athletic Conference leaders Monday afternoon at the Cuyahoga Country Fairgrounds.

ADA -- No. 12-ranked Ohio Northern swept John Carroll 6-2 and 4-1 in an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the ONU Softball Field.

The Polar Bears move to 19-2 overall and are 6-2 in the OAC, while the Blue Streaks fall to 17-7, 6-4.
