Kyle Barnaba posts victory to lead Men's Tennis against Webber International

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Kyle Barnaba won at No. 6 singles to lead the Ohio Northern men's tennis team against Webber International (Fla.) Wednesday afternoon.

The Polar Bears (1-2) also got a victory at No. 3 doubles by Jay Vaidya and Matt Dutro in a 7-2 loss to Webber (6-5).

Barnaba won 6-2, 4-1 (retired) at No. 6 singles, marking his second consecutive win over Webber.

Men's Tennis starts spring break trip against No. 20 Grand Valley State (Mich.)

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team began its spring break trip with an 8-1 loss to No. 20-ranked Grand Valley State (Mich.) on Monday afternoon.

The Polar Bears fall to 1-1, while the Division II Lakers improve to 3-1.

Senior Chris Dohner led Ohio Northern with a solid 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles.

Ryan Paul leads Men’s Tennis at ITA Regional Tournament

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. — Senior Ryan Paul led the Ohio Northern men’s tennis team at the ITA Regional Tournament Sat.-Mon. at Washington (Mo.) University.

Paul went 1-2 in singles play and combined with freshman Nick Kowalczyk to post a 2-2 record in doubles.

Men's Tennis holds off Northwestern Ohio for 5-4 victory

Ada — Ohio Northern built a 4-1 lead and held on for a 5-4 men's tennis victory over area-rival Northwestern Ohio Tuesday afternoon at University Courts.

The Polar Bears improve to 1-0 and the Racers fall to 2-2.

ONU freshman Andrew Korba won the deciding match after UNO had rallied from a 4-0 deficit to tie the match at 4-4.

Bob Rohan named head men's tennis coach at Ohio Northern

ADA - Bob Rohan has been named head men's tennis coach at Ohio Northern University.

He is also in his fifth season as an associate head football coach at Ohio Northern.

Rohan is also a lecturer in ONU's human performance and sport science department.

Rohan is making his second stint as men's tennis coach, after serving as an interim head coach for the final 14 matches of the 2005 season.
