Dohner joins 100-Win Club, but Men's Tennis falls at OAC foe Mount Union 6-3

ALLIANCE — Senior Chris Dohner joined the 100-Win Club, but the Ohio Northern men’s tennis team lost 6-3 at Ohio Athletic Conference-leader Mount Union Saturday afternoon.

The Polar Bears move to 6-5 overall and 2-2 in the OAC while the Purple Raiders better their record to 11-4 overall and 3-0 in the conference.

COLUMBUS -- The Ohio Northern men’s tennis team won its fourth straight match Wednesday afternoon by winning at Capital 8-1.

The Polar Bears improve their record to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference while the Crusades fall to 0-8 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

ADA – The Ohio Northern men’s tennis team shut out Bluffton 9-0 Monday afternoon at University Courts.

Ohio Northern betters its record to 5-4 on the season while Bluffton moves to 0-9.

Senior Ryan Paul defeated Sean Williams 6-0, 6-1 at number one singles.

Freshman Nick Kowalczyk won at number two singles 6-0, 6-1 over David Juarez.

Kowalczyk, Barnaba lead Men's Tennis to 5th place finish at Wabash (Ind.) Tournament

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- The Ohio Northern men’s tennis team placed fifth out of eight teams at the Kerry Seward Invitational at the Collett Tennis Center at Wabash (Ind.) Saturday and Sunday.

Freshman Nick Kowalczyk and sophomore Kyle Barnaba were the top performers for the Polar Bears this weekend as each were runners-up in their respective brackets.

Paul earns 100th career victory as Men's Tennis edges Wooster 5-4

ADA – Senior Ryan Paul became the 14th member of the 100-win club as the Ohio Northern men’s tennis defeated the College of Wooster 5-4 at University Courts Thursday afternoon.

The Polar Bears better their record to 4-4 overall while the Fighting Scots fall to 8-2 overall this season.

In the schools’ fifteenth meeting, this was Ohio Northern’s first win in the series.
