Polar Bears wrap up fall slate at ITA Regionals

The Ohio Northern men's tennis team wrapped up its fall season Friday and Saturday at the ITA Regional Championships at Kalamazoo (Mich.)

Senior Micah Scott (Reynoldsburg) went 3-2 at the tournament, posting a 1-1 record in singles and a 2-1 mark with junior Bart Schenck (Wooster) in doubles.

Scott and Schenck reached the round of 16 with a pair of victories before falling.

Senior Ryan Paul (West Milton/Milton-Union) went 2-2 in singles play and reached the quaretrfinals of the Consolation round.

Senior Micah Scott joins 100-Win Club as Polar Bears top UNOH

Senior Micah Scott became the 12th member of Ohio Northern's prestigious 100-Win Club, leading the Polar Bears to an 8-1 non-conference men's tennis victory over area foe Northwestern Ohio Wednesday afternoon at the University Courts.

The Polar Bears opened their 2007-08 season with a 1-0 mark, while the Racers fall to 0-2 in their inaugural season.

Scott joined senior Bart Schenck at No. 1 doubles to defeat Jason Sarno and William Draur 8-1 for his 100th career victory.
