ADA – Dan Otanicar scored a goal and Ohio Northern head coach Brent Ridenour earned his 150th career victory with the men’s soccer team as the Polar Bears defeated the two-time defending regular season champion Capital 4-1 Tuesday afternoon at the ONU Soccer Field.

Christian Huelsman named OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

ADA — Sophomore standout Christian Huelsman (Wellington) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for his efforts during the week of September 28 - October 4.

This marks the first time during his career that Huelsman has been awarded this recognition.

Huelsman began the week on Tuesday with his second career hat trick at home against Defiance. He was able to score all three goals within a 13:17 span in the second half.

Men's Soccer opens OAC slate with hard-fought 2-1 victory at Muskingum

NEW CONCORD -- The Ohio Northern men's soccer team opened the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its regular season with a 2-1 victory at Muskingum Saturday afternoon.

The Polar Bears improve to 7-3-1 overall, and are 1-0 in OAC action, while the Muskies fall to 5-6, 0-1.

ADA - Sophomore forward Christian Huelsman recorded his second career hat trick to lead the Ohio Northern men’s soccer team to a 7-0 win over Defiance Tuesday afternoon at the ONU Soccer Field.

The Polar Bears better their record to 6-3-1 overall while the Yellow Jackets move to 3-5-0 overall.
