ADA — Junior Dan Otanicar and sophomore Dustin Connor have both been earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference accolades.
For both players, this is the first time they have earned the award.
Otanicar was named Academic All-OAC, while Connor was named Honorable Mention Academic All-OAC.
Otanicar played in 14 of Ohio Northern's 22 games and was second on the team with nine goals. He was also second on the team with 22 points and was tied for fourth on the team with four assists.

ADA – In the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, the Ohio Northern men’s soccer team tied Brockport State (N.Y.) 1-1 in regulation but lost 5-3 in a shootout Thursday afternoon at the ONU Soccer Field.
The Polar Bears finish their season with a 15-3-4 overall record while the Golden Eagles are now 10-5-4 overall.

ADA -- The Ohio Northern men’s soccer team had a school-record eight players named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference for 2009 in voting conducted by the league’s head coaches.
Two players were named to the First Team, two players to the Second Team and Four players named Honorable Mention.
Seniors Dan Schade and Dan Otanicar were given First Team honors.
