ADA — In the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinals, the No. 20 Ohio Northern men’s soccer team defeated Heidelberg 1-0 Thursday afternoon at the ONU Soccer Field.
The No. 1 seed Polar Bears better their record to 15-3-2 overall while the No. 4 seed Student Princes finish their season at 10-8-2 overall.

ADA — After claiming the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season championship last week, the Ohio Northern men's soccer team moved up five spots to No. 20 in the ninth weekly National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Adidas Division III Men's Soccer Poll.
This is the third week that the Polar Bears (14-3-2 overall, 8-0-1 Ohio Athletic Conference) have been ranked in the poll after being No. 25 last week and No. 21 in the first poll.

ADA — Junior Dan Otanicar has been named ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District IV for his efforts this season.
The accounting major from Wadsworth is second on the team in goals scored with nine and points with 22, playing in just 14 of the team's 19 games on the season.
Otanicar has been no stranger to recognition, as the forward has earned several awards throughout his career.
As a freshman in 2006, Otanicar was First Team All-OAC and Second Team All-Region.
