Men's Golf Coaching Staff

 
Former Ohio Northern basketball standout Chad Bostelman is in his second season as head men's golf at his alma mater.
 
He also serves as an assistant men’s basketball coach.
Bostelman, a 2005 graduate, returns to the Polar Bears after one year as an assistant coach at Ohio Wesleyan and two seasons as a graduate assistant at Heidelberg.

“I’m very excited to return to Ohio Northern,” Bostelman said. “It feels great to be back in the ONU community. Our men’s golf team is a program on the rise and I’m ready for the challenge to take the program to the next level. Returning to the basketball program as a coach is a dream for me, as well.”

Bostelman graduated from Ohio Northern with a B.A. degree in education and social studies in 2005. He then earned a Master’s degree in education from Heidelberg in 2007.

He is also a lecturer in ONU’s Human Performance and Sport Sciences department.

Bostelman was a four-year letterman for the Polar Bears from 2001-04 and was a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree.

He currently ranks 18th all-time on Ohio Northern’s scoring list with 1,187 points.

A Napoleon, Ohio, native, he also ranks seventh at ONU with 226 three-pointers, is eighth with a .832 free throw shooting percentage, is 14th with 258 steals and is 16th with 117 assists.
