ADA – Ohio Northern senior forward Kyle Meyer scored a team-high 24 points, but the ONU men’s basketball team lost to Mount Union 67-63 Sunday afternoon in Ohio Athletic Conference action at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears move to 11-10 overall and 9-5 in conference play while the Purple Raiders improve to 9-12 overall and 7-7 in the OAC.

ADA — Heavy snow has forced the postponement of two basketball games and the cancellation of a track meet for the Ohio Northern varsity athletics teams on Saturday.
The Men's Basketball game at home with Mount Union, slated for 3 pm, has been postponed and has been rescheduled for Sunday at 1 pm at the ONU Sports Center.
The Women's Basketball game at Mount Union, also slated for 3 pm, has been postponed and has been rescheduled for Sunday at 1 pm.

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Scott Schnelle (New Bremen) was named First Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV in men's basketball for 2009-10 in voting conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
As a member of the First Team, Schnelle will now go on the Academic All-America ballot.
The 6-9 center is third on the team in scoring this season, averaging 9.7 points per game and is second in rebounding with an average of 5.6 caroms per game.
