Natatorium
The Ohio Northern swimming and diving teams are fortunate to have one of the top facilities in the Midwest to call home.
The 25-yard Natatorium, located within the Sports Center, features six lanes and 1- and 3-meter diving boards, as well as permanent seating for more than 300 spectators.
Although part of the original 1974 construction, the Natatorium is thoroughly modern, incorporating a state-of-the-art electronic timing system and scoreboard.
The Natatorium seamlessly merges recreation and competition. It not only serves as home of the swimming and diving teams, but is also open to the university. Doubling as a practice facility and arena, fans are able to keep close watch on the events and are in close proximity to other attractions in the complex, including the fieldhouse, fitness rooms, and gymnasiums—not to mention the concession stands.
From leisurely swim to fast-paced Ohio Athletic Conference competition, the Natatorium is a versatile asset of the Ohio Northern Sports Center.
