ADA - The Ohio Northern baseball team had four players earn Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference for the 2010 season.
Senior Greg Gibbons led the way by being named Academic All-OAC, while seniors Kevin Sigg and Matt Rader and sophomore Jacob Drerup were all Honorable Mention Academic All-OAC.
This is the first time that any of the four players have earned an Academic All-OAC award.

ADA — The Ohio Northern baseball team (26-12, 10-8 Ohio Athletic Conference) had four players earn All-OAC accolades in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
Senior right fielder Loren Fleischman led the way by being named Second Team All-OAC. Senior utility player Brett Katana, sophomore first baseman Matt Hampshire and freshman left handed pitcher Austin Price were all named Honorable Mention All-OAC.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS - The Ohio Northern baseball team was swept 17-8 and 11-9 by John Carroll in a crucial Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader at Schweickert Field Saturday afternoon.
Baseball Highlights
• 8 NCAA Tournament Appearances
• 7 OAC Championships
• 7 All-Americans
• 2 Academic All-Americans
• 40 First Team All-OAC honorees
• 22 First Team Academic All-OAC honorees
• 2 OAC Most Valuable Players
• Second most OAC wins all-time of all conference opponents
• ONU has an all-time winning percentage of .546 (1,070-882-9)
• ONU has a .500 or better record against five of the other nine current OAC schools
• ONU pitchers have led the OAC in strikeouts in each of the last two seasons, as Drew Wieland led the conference in 2008 with 81, and Justin Miller led the conference in 2009 with 77.
• Mark Sankovich earned Second Team All-Mid East Region as a senior in 2008
