Women's Soccer plays Wittenberg to scoreless tie

SPRINGFIELD -- Kristin DeWees had three saves in goal to help the Ohio Northern women's soccer team play to a scoreless tie at Wittenberg Wednesday afternoon at Edwards-Maurer Field.
The Polar Bears move to 3-1-2, while the Tigers move to 3-0-3.
This is the second time in the last three matches that ONU has played to a 0-0 tie, after the Polar Bears and DePauw (Ind.) accomplished the feat on Sept. 11 in Greencastle, Ind.
Wittenberg out-shot ONU 7-3 in the contest.
Ohio Northern will return to action Saturday at 4:30 pm against Hope (mich.) at the ONU Soccer Field
