Women's Indoor Track & Field earns 3rd place finish of 11 teams at Tiger Invitational hosted by DePauw (Ind.)

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Ohio Northern women’s track team finished third out of eleven teams at the Tiger Indoor Invitational held at the James A. Hollensteiner Track in the DePauw Indoor Tennis and Track Center on Friday.
ONU improves to 20-2 on the year.
The Polar Bear’s distance medley team took second place with a time of 13:36.04.
Senior Joy Kessler took third place in the women’s 400 finishing with a time of 1:00.44.
Junior Rachel Smith rounded out the top three spot in the 800 with a 2:23.02 run.
Senior Katie Andrzejewski ran an 11:14.75 to take third in the 3,000-meter race.
Junior Kirsten Yoho earned third place in the long jump with a jump of 5.01 meters while teammate freshman Nicole Hope took fourth with a jump 5.00 meters.
Sophomore Aubrie Stechschulte earned a fourth place finish in the pole vault with a height of 3.20 meters.
The Ohio Northern Polar Bears will run next Saturday in Westerville at the All Ohio Championships at Otterbein.
