Women's Golf team still ranked No. 19 in NGCA poll; Drops out of GolfStat Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women’s golf team fell out of the GolfStat national poll, but remains No. 19 ranked in the National Golf Coaches Association poll, which was last updated March 4.
The Polar Bears (67-15-1) are ranked No. 26 in the seventh weekly GolfStat rankings, falling just out of the national poll for the first time this season.
ONU had held down the No. 17 spot for three consecutive weeks.
The Polar Bears remain ranked No. 19 in the National Golf Coaches Association poll, which was last updated March 4.
Wisconsin-Stevens Point remains ranked first in the GolfStat poll and Methodist (N.C.) received 12 of the 13 first place votes and 324 overall to claim the No. 1 spot in the NGCA poll.
Sophomore Ashley Johnson leads the team with an 84.1 scoring average, junior Kaylea Thresher is second at 86.4 and freshman Emily Gedert is third at 86.8.
The Polar Bears will be in action next when they travel to the Wittenberg Invitational Saturday and Sunday.
