Women’s Tennis wraps up Fall schedule at ITA Regional Tournament

OBERLIN — The Ohio Northern women’s tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule at the ITA Regional Tournament Sat.-Mon. at Oberlin College.

The Polar Bears were led by Kristin Timperman, Kaitlyn Macdonald, Bridget Larson and Jacki Hillis.

Timperman went 1-1 in singles play and advanmced to the Round of 32 in the championship flight. She defeated Anna Becker of Kenyon 6-4, 6-3 in the round of 64 before falling to Tiffany Nguyen of Chicago (Ill.) 6-1, 6-2.

Macdonald, Larson and Hillis each posted 1-2 singles records, losing in the first round before bouncing back with victories in the consolation round. All three ladies were eliminated in the consolation round of 16.
