Three Polar Bears named All-OAC in Men's Basketball

ADA -- Ohio Northern junior Kyle Meyer, senior Kurtis Brown and junior Ezra Bradshaw were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in men's basketball for 2008-09 in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
Meyer was a First Team All-OAC honoree, while Brown and Bradshaw were Honorable Mention selections.
Meyer is now a two-time All-OAC pick, earning Honorable Mention kudos as a sophomore last winter.
This season, Meyer led the Polar Bears in scoring (17.8 ppg), rebounding (6.3 rpg) and was second in blocked shots (19), steals (29) and field goal percentage (.579).
He was also named the OAC Player of the Week three times this season.
Meyer will enter his senior season with 833 career points, just 167 shy of becoming the 35th member of ONU's 1,000-Point Club.
Brown started all 27 games at shooting guard and finished the season second on the squad in scoring at 12.0 ppg.
He led the team in assists (87), steals (36) and 3-point field goals (53).
He wraps up his career ranked 15th all-time at ONU with 253 assists and is 16th with 118 steals.
Bradshaw was third on the team in scoring at 11.7 ppg and was second in assists with 85.
He started 26 games at the point guard spot and hit a sparkling .512 from the floor.
The Polar Bears finished the 2008-09 season 18-9 overall and were third in the OAC with a 12-6 league mark under fourth-year head coach Jeff Coleman.
