Rain, rain go away! Baseball, Softball, Women's Tennis postponed on Tuesday

ADA — April showers may be good for flowers, but they are not so kind to the Ohio Northern spring sports teams, as a steady rain has wiped out all of Ohio Northern's athletic contests for Tuesday, April 14.

The Baseball doubleheader with Heidelberg, slated for Tuesday at 1 pm at Wander Field, has been postponed until Wednesday at 1 pm.

No. 12-ranked Softball has postponed its home doubleheader against Wittenberg on Tuesday. No makeup date has been determined yet.

The Women's Tennis match at Heidelberg, slated for Tuesday, has been pushed back until Thursday at 3:30 pm.

On Monday, the Baseball game with area-rival Bluffton was postponed with no makeup date determined.

The Softball team was able to play on Monday and picked up two huge wins at Baldwin-Wallace. The 5-2, 10-8 sweep puts the polar Bears alone in first place in the OAC with an 8-2 record.
