Noe and Lammers better their NCAA Provisional Qualifying marks to lead Track & Field at Gregory Invite

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Dani Noe ran a personal best in the 400-meter hurdles and Andy Lammers vaulted a career best in the pole vault to better their NCAA Provisional Qualifying marks and lead the Ohio Northern men's and women's track & field teams at the Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central (Ill.)

Noe won the race in 1:02.50 to better her previous best time by .5 seconds and Lammers vaulted 15-9.75 to better his best career mark by 4.75 inches.

The Men’s 4X100-meter relay of Justin Linzy, Ryan Fleming, Travis Althouse and Evan Heyman took second in an NCAA Provisional and season-best time of 41.35, while the 4X400-meter relay of Joe Amstutz, Heyman, Shane Huntley and Jimmy O'Brien took eighth in an NCAA Provisional qualifying time of 3:16.48.

Jacob Schwab had great showing at the meet, finishing 14th in the 100-meter dash in a personal-best time of 11.34 and 18th in a personal-best time of 22.83 in the 200-meter dash.

Amstutz finished seventh in the 400-meter dash in a time of 49.54.

Kirsten Yoho finished sixth in the long jump with a season-best jump of 17-01.25.

Brittany Farber took 10th in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:18.61, while Courtney Zupancic finished 14th in the hammer throw with a throw of 134-04.

The NCAA Division III Championship will be at Marietta on Thursday-Saturday. The championship field will be set on Sunday and announced no later than Monday on ONUSports.com.
