No. 25-ranked Wittenberg hands Men's Soccer first loss of the season

SPRINGFIELD - The Ohio Northern men's soccer team suffered its first defeat of the season at the hands of No. 25-ranked Wittenberg 4-0 Tuesday evening.
The Polar Bears drop to 6-1, while the Tigers remain perfect on the season with a 7-0 record.
Wittenberg's Shane Price stole the show with a hat-trick, scoring his fourth, fifth and sixth goals of the season.
Senior Adam Ross put the most pressure on the Tigers with five shots and sophomore Chaz McCullah also had opportunities to score with three shots.
Price scored the first goal of the game just two minutes in off of a rebound and scored his second goal 21 minutes later off a redirected pass and assist from Jimmy Thinnes.
Ryan Ruef put the Tigers up 3-0 on the first half with a goal in the 37th minute on an assists from Daniel Broidy.
Freshman Corey Zinser got his first action in goal in the second half, allowing only Price's third and final goal of the game in the 55th minute. Zinser also recorded his first career save during the game.
Ohio Northern will again be in action this weekend as it hosts the OAC-MIAA Shootout on Friday and Saturday at the ONU Soccer Field.
