No. 19 Men's Cross Country wins All-Ohio Championship title for second time in three years

DELEWARE — The No. 19-ranked Ohio Northern men’s cross country team won the All-Ohio Championships meet Friday afternoon.

ONU (35-4) won the team title for the second time in three years at the 8,000-meter course on the Deleware Golf Club course.

The Polar Bears were lead by two top-five finishes from seniors Alan Bowsher and Justin Dickman, who finished second and fourth, respectively, in times of 27:05.8 and 27:11.2.

Sophomore Dan Smith finished 11th in a time of 27:54.6.

Senior Brent Hiser and sophomore Nick Baker finished out Northern’s scoring.

Hiser finished 13th in a time of 27:59.2, while Baker finished 35th in a time of 28:35.2

The Polar Bears finished first with 65 points, while No. 33-ranked Heidelberg finished second with 66 points, Oberlin finished third with 124 points, and No. 24-ranked Mount Union finished fourth with 129 points.
