Men's Tennis starts spring break trip against No. 20 Grand Valley State (Mich.)

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team began its spring break trip with an 8-1 loss to No. 20-ranked Grand Valley State (Mich.) on Monday afternoon.

The Polar Bears fall to 1-1, while the Division II Lakers improve to 3-1.

Senior Chris Dohner led Ohio Northern with a solid 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles.

Senior Ryan Paul and freshman Andrew Korba also played well, but dropped third-set tiebreakers at N o. 1 and No. 6 singles.

The Polar Bears will return to action on Wednesday against Webber International (Fla.) at Noon.
