Men's Tennis notches 8-1 OAC road victory at Wilmington

WILMINGTON -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team swept the doubles matches and won five of the six singles matches to defeat Wilmington 8-1 Friday afternoon.
The Polar Bears improve to 11-5 overall and are 6-2 in OAC play, while the host Quakers fall to 4-11, 0-7.
Kyle Barnaba posted the most impressive win of the day, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
Nick Kowalczyk won 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 singles, Chris Dohner won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, Jeff Carter won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and Jay Vaidya won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
In doubles play, Kowalczyk and Ryan Paul won 8-6 at No. 1 singles, Dohner and Carter won 8-3 at No. 2 doubles and Vaidya and Matt Dutro won 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.
Northern will hosor its seniors on Saturday on Senior Day at home against Marietta at 1 pm at University Courts.
