ADA — Ohio Northern senior defensive end Josh Horn was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in helping the No. 18-ranked Polar Bears to a 37-34 victory at Muskingum Saturday night.

Horn had a career-high 14 tackles and tied his career highs with 3.0 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss. His final stop came on a 4th and 15 play in the final seconds to end the Muskingum come-back attempt.

This marks the second time in his career that Horn was named the OAC Player of the Week, as he also received the honor on Oct. 27, 2008.

The Polar Bears will return to action this Saturday at 1:30 pm when they entertain Heidelberg at Dial-Roberson Stadium as part of ONU's Homecoming Weekend.
