Johnson and Huelsman connect on corner kick to lift Men's Soccer to 1-0 victory at Otterbein

WESTERVILLE — Freshman Cameron Johnson’s goal off a corner by sophomore Christian Huelsman at 40:21 led the Ohio Northern men’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory at Otterbein on Saturday afternoon at Clements Field.
The Polar Bears improve to 12-3-2 overall and remain undefeated in OAC play with a record of 6-0-1.
Otterbein falls to 4-9-3 overall and 2-5-0 in the OAC.
Johnson notched his fourth goal of the season near the end of the first half, heading in a corner kick from Huelsman past the Otterbein keeper.
The assist by Huelsman is his fourth of the year.
Mac Church made five saves to post his ninth shutout of the year.
Ohio Northern outshot Otterbein 10-9 in the match, while each team had five shots on goal.
The Polar Bears will celebrate Senior Day on Wednesday as they host Wilmington in the last home match of the regular season.
Ohio Northern can clinch a share of the regular season OAC title and the top seed in the OAC tournament with a victory.
