Jeff Carter leads Men's Tennis at ITA Regional Tournament

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. — Jeff Carter posted a 3-1 record in singles play to lead the Ohio Northern men's tennis team at the ITA Regional Tournament Friday-Sunday at Washington (Mo.) University.

Carter defeated Nick Smith of Wabash (Ind.) 6-2, 6-2; Kyle Tolbert of Washington (Mo.) 6-1, 6-2 and Craig Lods of Westminster (Pa.) 6-1, 6-2 to reach the quarterfinals of the Collegiate Singles Division tournament.

Carter and Andrew Korba combined to post a 2-1 record in the Collegiate Doubles tournament, reaching the quarterfinals.

Nick Kowalczyk and Joey Frank each went 1-1 in the Singles Open tournament.
