ADA - The No. 6 Ohio Northern volleyball team defeated John Carroll in a three-set sweep Tuesday evening at the ONU Sports Center to earn a berth into the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals.

The Polar Bears (26-3) are the No. 3 seed in the tournament, while the Blue Streaks (12-17) were the No. 6 seed.

ADA — After claiming the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season championship last week, the Ohio Northern men's soccer team moved up five spots to No. 20 in the ninth weekly National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Adidas Division III Men's Soccer Poll.

This is the third week that the Polar Bears (14-3-2 overall, 8-0-1 Ohio Athletic Conference) have been ranked in the poll after being No. 25 last week and No. 21 in the first poll.

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 23 in the ninth weekly NSCAA Division III National Rankings.

The Polar Bears are 14-3-2 overall and finished in second place in the Ohio Athletic Conference standings with an 8-1-0 record.

Northern made its first appearance in the national rankings five weeks ago as the No. 23-ranked team. After a one-week absence, ONU got back into the poll two weeks ago at No. 25 and moved up to No. 24 last week.

ADA —The Ohio Northern volleyball team moved up one spot to No. 6 in the ninth weekly Sports Imports/AVCA Coaches poll that was released on Tuesday.

The Polar Bears (25-3 overall, 7-2 Ohio Athletic Conference) received 462 points, four more points than the 458 they received last week when they were ranked No. 7.
