Calling all alumni!

Each winter, accepted high school students journey to campus to participate in a Scholarship Recognition Day. Students are invited to a Scholarship Recognition Day base on their high school GPA, ACT or SAT score, and extracurricular activities. At these days, students are asked to participate in a series of evaluations. One component of these activities, is an interview with Ohio Northern University representatives.

We cordially invite all alumni to serve on a Scholarship Recognition Day interview panel with a current ONU student and faculty member. We invite our alumni to help shape the lifeline of our instituion by evaluating these selected students. The opinions of our alumni matter deeply to us!

Depending on which Scholarship Recognition Day you select, you'll come to campus on a Saturday morning for a brief interview training session. A breakfast for interviewers will be provided where you'll meet your interviewing team. Your team will be provided with questions to ask our prospective students. You will interview approximately 9-10 students (10 minutes each) and once finished, you will turn in an evaluation form to Admissions representatives. You can certainly join us for lunch if your schedule permits!

For more detailed information or if you would like to register to be on a Scholarship Recognition Day interviewer panel, please contact: Erin Chandler at alumnibears@onu.edu

Thank you to all alumni who assisted as interviewers at the 2009 Scholarship Recognition Days!
